Service Highlights


70 turkeys were donated for the Thanksgiving Turkey Drive in support of Friday Food Ministries at St. Thomas’s Anglican Church and the Scott Mission.

Each year, over

2,000

pounds of food, clothing, school supplies and personal items are donated to food banks and schools such as Walmer Food Bank, The Stop, Our Place Community of Hope, the Scott Mission, Lord Dufferin Public School and Our Lady of Lourdes.

7 classes and 128 students participated in the Reading Buddies program. Number of books read: 2,106.


Since 1995, RSGC has raised $287,832 through the annual Terry Fox Run and Spirit Day. In 2019, we raised $15,305.

On Fridays, students help to prepare a meal for 120 guests at the Friday Food Ministries at St. Thomas’s Anglican Church. Over the 18 years this program has been running at RSGC, students, staff and families have volunteered over 2,400 hours helping to prepare and serve meals for the guests of this program.

RSGC maintained GOLD Status for this year’s EcoSchools accreditation.

games played by 39 kids and teenagers during 20 weeks of Right to Play with Lord Dufferin Public School

The Senior School participated in the annual Day of Service, with 275 boys spending 1,375 volunteer hours at 32 organizations across the GTA.

hours of virtual community service during the spring lockdown.

Each boy who participated in the program throughout the year with Our Place Community of Hope performed:

  • 34 hours of community service
  • 20 hours of karaoke
  • 24 hours of billiards played with guests
  • 1000s of boxed and canned foods sorted into inventory
